As a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship and success I pose the question, "Are we aware of our right to succeed in this world?" In order to make a lasting impact in society it will require that we take bold and daring risks in order to accomplish notable feats.
We must remove any barriers to our envisioned success and press forward with an unwavering resolve to achieve our most beloved dreams.
African Americans must learn to celebrate, support and cultivate the greatness that is so often overlooked amongst our peers. After announcing that I was leaving my place of employment to pursue my dream to operate my company Atara Enterprises,LLC full time one of my co-workers stated that I would be back in six-months.
I use that negative energy as fuel to propel me to greater heights. We have been empowered to prosper meaning authorized to succeed and exceed our wildest imaginations. We must not allow the menial expectations of naysayers to prevent us from leaving a legacy worthy of honor and acclaim.
I challenge you to refuse to live an average life by pursuing your deepest desires. It will take every ounce of faith to keep believing in the face of adversity, seemingly impenetrable odds and uncertainties. The decision will be well worth it because you will have courageously treaded your own path to greatness leaving a unique and distinctive mark for generations to come.
